At Bibby Fine Furniture we produce hand-crafted high quality solid wood furniture, based on well-proportioned original aesthetic designs.

Behind every piece of our furniture lies considered design, selection of the best quality materials and skilled craftsmanship.

We are located near the beautiful city of Nelson, in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada

Choose from our existing line of products, or contact us with your ideas for a custom piece. Each piece of furniture is made-to-order,

using solid hardwood and perfect finishes. Choose your material – white oak, walnut, hard maple, birch, cherry.

Look for the bee! Every Bibby Fine Furniture original has a very small hand-carved bee, subtly incorporated somewhere on the furniture item.

Each bee is unique and makes your piece of furniture one of a kind!

Considerable time and consideration go into the design of each furniture item. Our designs starts with a sketch

and then get finalized in our drawing software. Once our clients approve the design and dimensions, we start working on your custom furniture.

Bibby Fine Furniture is operated by Mike Bibby, a former petroleum geologist, originally from Yorkshire in England.

After working and travelling in the oil and gas sector for many years, Mike, his Interior designer wife (who runs Bibby Fine Interiors)

and their family, returned to the beautiful Kootenay region of western Canada to settle down and change careers to something more

creative and fulfilling. Mike studied fine woodworking at Selkirk College and started Bibby Fine Furniture in 2020.
